While at ministry on October 5, 2018 the Lord gave my team and I new friend. Meet my sweet brother in Christ- Kentucky Magagula!

The morning started off by a little kid getting a bloody nose, so we took him back to his house so he could change his shirt. When we returned back to the care point, the Lord brought Kentucky, the little boys uncle, back with us and he shared how his faith had been weak due to having epilepsy. My team and I rested our hands on him, he got down on his knees, and we prayed for healing over his body and for his faith to be renewed.

After talking and praying with Kentucky, I asked him to write his name in my journal and he asked to write more. He returned my journal to me about 20 minutes later and I wanted to share with you all what he wrote.

“I am the boy of 32 years old. I live at Lubulini Inkhundla. I am still single in life, I do not have a girl lover and children, because of consequences in life. The major one, I have an incurable sickness, epilepsy. I am not working because of it. No companies allows me to be part of it. Life is too difficult to me, but i keep in believing that the Lord will help me, one of the good days. Amen.”

What a sweet reminder to keep on pushing through the challenges of life and trusting that God is above it all and through it all. Thank you, Lord for Kentucky’s vulnerability and humility that he walks in. I can’t wait to continue talking with him, growing our friendship, and praying over him.

We serve a faithful Father, and there is so much power in prayer. Please include Kentucky in your prayers!
