So a 4-month update.

China-

Was by far one of the harder months for me on the race. This was a country that had a strong negative spiritual influence on me. I was being brought down by worries of health and not wanting to be involved with my team. However, I was able to grow closer to God through worship and actively reading through the word. I finally felt the relief at debrief were I was just filled with joy and peace for that time during it. This month taught me to draw near to God and grew in faith in his promises. My song for this month was Bryan and Katie Torwalts Song: Praise before my Breakthrough, and My Hallelujah also by them.

Mongolia-

This country saw me pursing a more servent lead role. God gave me the word to serve my team this month. Which I was able to hold myself too. I saw room for improvement but at the same time, I was able to achieve this word for the month. This is month also saw a team name change from wandering children to praying children. I have really discovered the power of a name, and shouldn’t be taken lightly. I have never prayed in life for people and events as I did this month. I was able to witness countless prayers for my team get answered, and only one but the most important one for me get answered. I was able to witness a man to come to Christ and accept Jesus into his life. So I learned to celebrate in my teammates answered prayers as mine. This months Song was “Fill me Up” by Casey J.

Uzbekistan-

This month was a change in the original plan we were able to be the second official team to visit Uzbekistan. This was means month so we were broken into two teams of guys. We started the first week together to walk through the book “Wild At Heart.” For the rest of the time, my team walked through Kingdom Man by Tony Evans. This month saw understanding and discovery in wounds I have had in my past. I haven’t found an answer in how to deal with them but that will come soon enough. After this month we had a debrief were I came to realize that God has been pruning me this whole year, and showing me what a life following him looks like. This months song was “Son of David” by Ghostship

Kazakistan-

I was put into a new team called Freaks and Geeks. We were sent up to the northern border that took almost a collective of 48 hrs of travel on buses. It was quite miserable and not my favorite mode of transportation. This month was another month of struggling. I was dealing with the feeling of disappointment and not wanting to buy in daily. The days were long and it felt like I couldn’t find time to do anything I wanted to do. The only thing that sustained me was God. I would pray every morning to be filled with joy and eagerness. He provided and made this month more enjoyable than I expected. We were able to fundraise for a Van that we used for a road trip down to the Caspian were we now wait for a ferry. My song for this month was “Where Were You.”- By Ghostship.

God has done a lot for me this year and I only have more to learn and experince. If you still want to support me you can venmo me at :@Jordan-Bassett, or support squadmates that are still fundrising. All and every support is welcomed.
