My name is Jordan Bassett, I am 26 and hail from Mississippi. I have a strong passion for helping people and hope to accomplish that in many ways through this trip. I found out about this organization about 3 years ago through a friend that did it. Since then I have felt a tug on my heart to follow suit. The reason for wanting to do this specific route is mainly for the challenge of terrain, location, and the people I will come in contact with. I am a firm believer in the great commission and that this is one way for me to fulfill the scripture.
