Rise up; this matter is in your hands.

We will support you, so take courage and do it.”

Ezra 10:4

Hey there!

My name is Jordan Wilson.

I am twenty-two years old and I just graduated from The University of Texas at Austin (Hook ’em Forever!). I was born in Biloxi, Mississippi but grew up in the small town of Boerne, TX. I love the city of Austin, but I love love love coming home to my country roots. I am an adventure seeker and always enjoy spending time outside exploring nature. I have a slight obsession with dogs- ok maybe more than slight…like an adorable golden retriever will actually bring tears to my eyes. I love curling up in bed with a good book or a disney movie when I am feeling lazy. Fahrenheit 451 is a classic favorite book, and I could probably watch The Lion King, Tarzan, and The Aristocats a million times without getting tired of them. I could live off of tacos and seafood and more tacos. I laugh at my own jokes and I’m a sucker for movies with a good ending. I have a huge passion for serving the underprivileged- especially when it comes to education and care for orphaned children. I have worked with orphanages in Haiti and Africa and it was the most rewarding experience of my life thus far. East Africa holds a very special place in my heart- it absolutely fascinates me. I sponsor a child in Tanzania named Agrey, and he is incredibly special and bright. I’m an advocate. A fighter. A leader. A thinker. A helper. A lover. A dreamer. daughter of the King.

And I’m ready to step out in faith on this incredible journey as I follow His calling on my life.
