You all are amazing! Fantastic! Irreplaceable! Thank you so much for your generous hearts and support in this crazy adventure called the World Race over the past year. Your prayers, words of encouragement, financial support, blog sharing, and probably a bunch of other ways you’ve supported me that I don’t even know of have helped more than I ever imagined.
I am officially fully funded! $15,500: the cost of a car, a year or two of tuition at a university, 3100 cups of Starbucks coffee, 2200 number two combos from Whataburger, pretty awesome seats to a good football game. All of those, instead you have allowed me to do the things God called me to.

build a mountainside walkway in a jungle while monkeys hung in the trees
see that sometimes his timing in answering prayers is immediate and other times it’s months
throw the first birthday party for a 13-year-old Honduran boy who used to live in a dumpster and snort paint thinner
hold a five-year-old girl and listen to her say “Tia, Tia like a boss, like a boss” who was minutes away from being sold into the sex trade for $26 when she was three
talk to a Hindu man about how it’s not about what good things we can do to receive blessing and attention from gods but God has already greatly blessed us and that we always have his attention
I have learned…
the Lord doesn’t desire us to suffer, but will help lead us into and through suffering to remove impurities, rescue us from lies, and refine us
we all have a desire planted in us to benefit the kingdom: for me that means being a man of influence who can push men toward Christ to be men of integrity, honor, and compassion
that Christ didn’t die only to pay the punishment of my sin but so I could stand blameless before God and he could call me son and I could call him Father
that if you continue to spend time with someone you will develop a compassion, love, and desire for him/her to grow and live in freedom; that desire isn’t always there from the start but sometimes needs fostering
when you care about people deeply enough, you will give the constructive criticism and advice that makes them angry at you for days and that your closest friends are the ones who have done that to you
And I’m barely halfway home! (Wow! That's crazy to think about.)

I cannot, CANNOT, describe the effect the other 50 people have had on the countries or me these first five months. I probably don't even recognize some of it. These people desire to see victims vindicated, the preyed protected, and freedom found. If you at all feel a compulsion to support these amazing people I ask that you do.
