Hola everybody,

I’ve made it safely to Guatemala, and God is already moving big time!  Although I’m learning how to adjust to this whirlwind experience, it has been so wonderful to see my team and my squad and watch how God is moving among and through us.
Already God has been teaching me more about “Normal Christian Living”, living by the spirit, speaking life into one another, and constantly growing into who God is making me to be.
Tomorrow we head to the Jungle of Guatemala.  We will be living in tents and have no showers (aren’t you glad you’re not with me now…lol) The pastor’s wife however has blessed us by cooking all of our meals and they are allowing us to stay on their property!
We will be working with a Mayan Culture, and staying with a pastor named Pastor Carlos.  There we will be doing construction and evangelism.  Although Im nervous, I am so excited for what God has in store.  He has been breaking my heart for these people, and Im excited to get busy!  (OH MY GOODNESS IM DOING THIS THING)
My team and I are doing great… learning how to be a family! God has been all over that as well.  He has been teaching me the importance of just being real, just being Jordan.  Its a hard lesson to learn, but a great one to experience!
Well, I guess that’s it for now.  I won’t be able to write again probably for about 26 days.  If you all would please be praying  for my team, the ministry that we will be doing (especially for my team and I to communicate well as these people do not speak spanish, and speak a mayan dialect, which even with a translator will be difficult without God), for safety, and that Jesus would be seen by these people.  That they would know the love of Christ.  Also, I will more than likely have to preach a message, so if you could be praying that God speaks through me and shows me exactly what to say and how to relate to these awesome people.
God has been speaking to my heart about his love and the plans he has for these people “to give them a hope and a future”, and I’m so excited to see it manifest.  There are greater things coming to San Lucas Guatemala, and I’m so blessed to be apart of that!
Thank you all for your love and support! I would’t be here without you!!!
I love you all and ‘ll be sure to update you as soon as I can… hopefully with pictures!!!  🙂
xoxoxo,
Jordan
