One week from today, I fly to Georgia and finally get to meet my squad. So many emotions have been floating through my head the last few days (and by days I mean weeks). Below is a nice little list of some things going through my head right now.
I’m nervous…
to meet my squad. (q squad – love you guys already, but I’m nervous to meet y’all in person!)
to pack my backpacks for the first time.
to venture to an unfamiliar place and camp out.
to be pushed (shoved, thrown, kicked) out of my comfort zone.
to not know what to expect.
I’m excited…
to meet the people who I will be doing life with!
to try new things!
to stop overthinking life and just go with the flow!
to learn more about myself and what I want to accomplish on my journey!
Being a Type A, organized girl who (almost) always carries a planner in her purse, training camp is going to be a new experience for me. I don’t have any expectations or any knowledge of what we will be doing, which honestly is about 60% scary and 40% exciting.
I’ll be at training camp for almost 2 weeks. During these 2 weeks, I don’t know for sure what will happen. But there are 2 things that I do know: 1) I will grow closer to my new friends and learn more about what makes them who they are. 2) I will learn more about who I am and the kind of person I want to be on my squad.
The rest is yet to be determined.
PS: Stay tuned for “Training Camp Part 2” when I get back to Texas!
