Lessons learned from our half week.
You only get 5 TIPS since we only had a half week in La Cama. There will not be another “tips of the week” until we finish our first week in Costa Rica. We will be in transit until the 9th.
1. Be careful when you think your picking up a 6 year old kid! They could actually be a fifteen year old!
2. Tips for pool sticks are a necessity even though the Guats don’t think so.
3. Rainy season means it rains EVERY second of EVERY minute of EVERY hour of the day!
4. Don’t eat corn four months prior to coming to Guatemala. You will get your fix.
5. Don’t overreact when you see a bug or rodent or the old men of La Cama will throw them near you to get a good scare!
