As real as my hands are before me, that is how real God has been showing up to my team in our worship times. Since we have been in Costa Rica we have had a couple late nights of worship in one of our rooms. We put on a playlist of worship songs and we go after God! It wasn’t but the second song one night, when I felt a jolt of electricity go through my head to my feet. GOD SHOWED UP. We began to just prophecy over Carpio, speak against the darkness in this community, see visions of eachother, see visions of certain youth in this community, and just cry out for the Kingdom of God to meet us here. It was awesome!
God has been speaking to me a lot lately through podcasts and when I am just macheteing the lawn. The thing I have began to realize and take to heart is the fact that Heaven is NOT my destination or my goal. I have the eternal life in me already, but SPREADING God’s Kingdom is why I was born. I refuse to live a typical life that just hangs out on earth waiting to get to Heaven. I’m going to bask in God’s presence now, and I GET to spread HIS presence til I die! I’m not waiting to go to Heaven, I’m bringing it to the earth around me. To Hell with the devil, there is nothing stopping me from growing more and more each day in order to reach my full-potential in Christ. I have Eternal life so all Satan can try and do is keep me from that full potential (ha what a lost cause). I’m going for it! All or nothing for Jesus til I die! I’m all in and I don’t care what it looks like, I’m going to advance his Kingdom!
I got a little carried away with the typing and forgot I was blogging, but I just want to tell everyone that it doesn’t take “the world race” to get a fire from God lit in your spirit; it just takes a hunger for more! God is more real than anything I know. Countless times this week I’ve asked God for words to be put in my mouth for certain situations, and the next thing I know the words are spewing out of my mouth. God WILL use you, when you are desperate for Him and to be used by Him!
