-ME- I think I have discovered a new hobby– smashing boxes!!!

In high school we had to fill out a survey finishing this statement, “The Most
Likely To…” I can tell you, that I would never have been the “Most Likely to
Write a Song“, But I did. I was worshipping several days ago, when all of a

sudden, I had a song in my heart that was SCREAMING to come out. Within
10 minutes, the whole song was written down on paper. I could sing the melody exactly like it was being sung in my heart. I was afraid I was going to forget it, so I taught it to Rebekah that night. The next day we took Lindsay to the piano, and sang it for her. In a matter of ten minutes she had written the piano part. Now we are hoping to get people to put more music to it.
The point is– I had a song in my heart, and it exploded out of me onto paper. The lyrics were exactly what my hearts cry was. I didn’t sit down that night at worship, and ask God to give me a song. I sat down to worship my Savior, my soon coming King, and the Love of my life– that is when I was anointed to write a song. Then and only then, did something happen in the very core of My being. 
I would like to take you through the boxes I have smashed/ been smashing…

Do you ever get tired of singing songs that were written by someone else? I DID. Maybe that is why I was anointed to write a new song. Have you ever felt like there was something more to “Worship” than just regurgitating someone else’s song? Then, GO DEEPER, and find that “MORE“! For example, if you feel like painting to express yourself in worship, then PAINT ALREADY!! I don’t care if your in a church, where raising your hands is a big deal, you better pull out that paintbrush if that is how you feel led to worship.

I know for a fact, that I am not even close to finding out what true worship really means, and all it entails, but I am exploring it. I can tell you, for certain, that I am
not bored in my worship, and it looks different every time. I know that I am
worshipping God, and not anyone around me. I know that I was tired of
not bored in my worship, and it looks different every time. I know that I am
worshipping God, and not anyone around me. I know that I was tired of
worshipping my uncontainable God from a confined BOX!
Every single person has a SONG! Whether that comes out through your actual
voice box or a paintbrush it doesn’t matter. Worship your Savior. Don’t
let “giftings” hold you back. Don’t let others hold you back! We were all created to worship, not we were all created to worship exactly the same way!
