Hello friends, and welcome to my blog! This will be where you can find updates about trip details, the work God is doing in His people’s hearts, and the work God is doing in my own heart. I can’t tell you how excited I am to have the opportunity to share in this experience with you all!
First, a little about me:
I committed to the WR for October route 3, 2016. (Yikes! So soon!) The countries we will be doing ministry in are Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Philippines, Rwanda, Uganda, and Kenya.
I am 23 years old. I enjoy pretty much anything outside and having new experiences. I’ll try anything once!
I grew up in a small town in the north Ga mountains. I am also forever ruined by this because I have a constant longing to return to the mountains and farm life. I have a love for living things far and wide (animals, plants, insects, oh and people!)
I’ve always had a bit of a wanderer’s spirit and I have grown to love and seek out opportunities that push me outside my comfort zone. I have come to realize that immense growth and intimacy with Christ tends to occur outside of comfort and security.
I have changed my major like 4 or 5 times lol. (I just love everything haha) As of right now I work full-time as an EMT and I seriously love it so much. I have no idea what I will be doing a year from now and I am totally alright with that. I think I would be fine with going to school for the next 15 years so I could just learn more about this incredible world and the people who dwell in it.
I currently reside in Carrollton, Ga and I am fortunate enough to live in a house with a group of girls who are also my best friends. They are probably one of the biggest supporters in my life. They encourage me, they love me well, and they constantly point me to Christ. I can’t think of anyone else I would rather do life with!
I am very excited and very terrified about this next adventure in life, but mostly excited. Thanks for taking the time to get to know me a little better and if you are interested in being a part of this journey or my support team, please go right ahead and click subscribe!
