Hi!  I'm Jordan and I am from Kerkhoven which is a rural town in west central MN.  I am 26 years old.  I grew up on a dairy farm and I am still working in the dairy and crop farming business currently.  This summer I will be working at Lake Beauty Bible Camp in Long Prarie, MN as a cabin leader.

I grew up in a small, rural Covenant church of which I am now a member.  Also went to a small public high school.  I have three younger brothers.  My brothers and I are all very sports minded.  Over the summers we play a lot of basball and softball together.  I also enjoy football, basketball, golf, and fishing.  Really I enjoy anything outdoors.

In 2008, I graduated from South West MN State University (SMSU) in Marshall, MN with a degree in Ag Business.  Since then I've worked on a few different dairy farms and have been working with my dad in the crop farming business.  Over the past couple winters I've spent about 6 months in Costa Rica working as a short-term missionary and studied spanish for 6 weeks as well.  I also recently just spent 10 days in Panama doing missions work.

I first became interested in the World Race during my fist trip to Costa Rica when I visited a missionary family who told me they thought the World Race would be a great oppurtunity to serve God all over the world.  This got me interested because I knew a girl from my church currently on the race.  After talking to them about it I soon started reading the blogs and became more and more interested in going on the World Race myself.   And so here I am today, only about 5 months away from the start of an 11 month trip around the world with one goal in mind:  To glorify and serve God wherever we go.
