Welcome to my first blog post! I am so excited to get to start this amazing journey on the World Race and to be able to share every step of the way with y’all! I had been feeling a greater calling in this world to do something SO BIG for Him! I had missions on my heart for so long and felt that God was pulling me to share His word with people all over the world. I had heard about the World Race from some of my friends and decided to look it up and see what it was. For those of you who don’t know what the World Race is, I pack up my bag, tent, water bottle, my Bible and travel to 11 different countries in 11 months and share not only His word, but the love God has for us. All I had to do was watch a few videos, read a couple of blogs, and I knew that this was something that I needed to do for Him. Of course, before I got accepted I had doubts about leaving family and friends for a whole year, but with God’s love and comfort, He said,” Go and make Disciples.” I’m hoping to not only share the Word with others who may not know him, but to learn more about His love and the way he wants me to live! I know the Lord is leading me towards great things, and I hope y’all will follow along as I start this new journey of my life with open eyes, an open heart, and with a love that grows like Jesus’.
