Dear Mom,
Thank you for being my beautiful red-headed Mother the last 27 years.
Thank you for being a rockstar single mom of four, and providing us a safe home to grow up in.
Thank you for all the sacrifices you made to put food on the table every night.
Thank you for being my number one fan at every gymnastic meet and soccer game.
Thank you for being the best soccer coach during my youth years. (Go Mighty Ducks!)
Thank you for letting me pursue my talent in soccer and supporting me all the way through college.
Thank you for encouraging me to pursue my dreams and goals and never allowing me to give up.
Thank you for letting me be the weird OCD child who loved to clean anything and everything.
Thank you for listening to hip music growing up and playing Bonjovi in the car on our way to my soccer games.
Thank you for still loving me even when I never wanted to leave Grandma and Pawpaw’s house.
Thank you for always answering the phone during all hours of the day.
Thank you for being my voice of reason when I feel like my world is coming to an end.
Thank you for being the best shoulder to cry on and first phone call made during my many heartbreaks.
Thank you for always having BlueMoon or a glass of wine waiting for me when I come to your house.
Thank you for continually praying for me and my future husband.
Thank you for passing down your love for Target to me.
Thank you for all your sweet cards and notes, I will cherish them forever.
Thank you for always always seeing the beauty in me when I don’t.
Thank you for always putting your make up on in the car while driving down 75 because I do the same thing now.
Thank you for believing in me and the life I’m living.
Thank you for your steadfast love for all your children and grandchildren, no matter the circumstance.
Thank you for not giving up on your life.
Thank you for being you.

Happy Mother’s Day, I wish I could be there to give you a big hug (cause your hugs are the best) and eat greasy Chinese food. I pray that you continue to find your worth in the Lord and find a healthy balance of living. You have been and always will be an amazing mother. I love you and miss you!
See you in 6 months!
Love,
J
Ps: shout out to a few of my dearest friend’s Mothers out there, you know who you are! Thank you for taking me in during times of need and loving me like your own daughter. Your support and compassion through out the years has helped shape who I am today. Much love <3
