When we arrived in Kuala Lumpur, we were picked up by our
contact and brought to a YMCA to spend the night and get acclimated to our new
surroundings. The following day we had an orientation about the country of
Malaysia where we learned about etiquette, attire, communication, religion,
etc. We then met our pastor that we would spend the next week with in Kuala
Lumpur. Over the course of the week, we visited a couple of areas, including
the Petronas towers, where we had prayer walks. In case you are unfamiliar with a prayer walk, it is an opportunity to walk around a certain area and pray for the people and the community as a whole.
