Ever since training camp in October, I've been preparing pretty much non-stop, but I'm finally here in Washington DC, reunited with the rest of the O squad. It was sad to leave home and say goodbyes, but I clearly have the most supportive group of friends and family imaginable.
Our flight leaves on Friday at 6:00am for Honduras, and until then, I will be learning how to be the best logistics coordinator I can be. As the logistics coordinators, Emily Malloy and I will be serving the O squad by coordinating some of the lodging, transportation, and financial needs over the next eleven months. At first, this seemed like a pretty intimidating responsibility, but after our meeting this morning, I feel confident and can't wait to get started!
