I wanted to share with all of you some of what I saw this past month in the Philippines….

Enjoy!

One of the precious babies!  So sweet!

Toddlers at bedtime….note the milk mustache!

One morning Di, Heidi, and I had the privilege of attending a dance performance at the local high school to watch some friends we met at the Awana children’s program we helped with.  Afterwards, we toured the high school.  This is their classroom – 70 seniors study here.  8000 students attend the school.

The process of planting a soccer field.  First, we removed weeds, rocks, a boulder, and other miscellaneous items.  Then sod was dug from a field nearby.  We dug holes, fertilized, and planted clumps of the grass.  One day it will be a beautiful field for the children to plan on as the grass spreads.

The Philippines is a gorgeous nation, but as you can tell, many of my favorite sites were the beautiful faces of the people we met.  I consider myself so blessed to have spent a month with them.
