Excitement is building as I prepare to leave the country on Thursday to return to South Africa and Mozambique!! My heart feels all free and fluttery just thinking about it!! I will be travelling with a team through Global Celebration, the ministry of Georgine and Winnie Banov. We will spend 4 days in Johannesburg, South Africa before departing for Pemba, Mozambique where we will spend a few days with Rolland and Heidi Baker at their Iris Ministries’ Base.
A late addition to the trip that I am so excited about, is 2 days in Maputo, Mozambique at the Zimpeto Iris Children’s Centre….where I had the privilege of spending 2 weeks in April of 2010. My time in Maputo was life-transforming as it shifted my perspective on life in some incredible ways….and ultimately led me on a journey where I was called to participate in The World Race.
To say I’m excited to see some familiar, precious, beautiful faces is an understatement!!!
We will depart from Maputo and drive to Krueger National Park….where I hope to spend some time observing my favorite creatures……
Although, maybe not quite as up close and personal as this little encounter since they will be wild elephants.
