Just a quick hello from Manila, Philippines to let you all know the squad and team leaders have arrived safely!! We arrived yesterday at around 10:00 AM. It’s beautiful here, the weather is great – humid and upper 80’s, sunny, but it’s monsoon season so at 4pm it downpoured for about 20 minutes or so. Lots of beautiful tropical plants, which I love! We are staying at a ministry base here in Manila for the week as all of the squad members arrive and we have training time. It is a great facility and we are all sleeping in BEDS for now! 🙂 At the end of the week we will split up and part of my squad will travel to a different ministry site, and the rest of the teams will stay here in Manila. We don’t know yet, which teams will be where.
Yesterday was pretty exhausting, but we all managed to stay awake through the jet lag and this morning all are feeling well rested and ready to go. Thank you for your prayers for this transition time!
