It has been a while since my last post and I wanted to give a quick update on my life right now. I have started to acquire different gear that I will need while I am gone, I have received the first of the necessary immunizations, and I have had the awesome experience of getting to know my teammates through a GroupMe group. However, as new journeys begin others end. I had my last college tournament a few weeks ago finishing that chapter of my life on an extreme high, finishing third in our region. The best the club has ever done before. But now, my college career is over. I will miss it but I am also excited for what comes next.

Time is flying by so quickly, it is all becoming so much more real every day. Graduation was a few days ago, my summer camp job starts up in less than 2 weeks and the world race is less than 5 months away. As the race draws closer, though the excitement continues to build, so do the numbers of occasions of brief anxiety, wondering if everything will all come together.  However, every time any amount of anxiety arises a calming feeling always follows. The support from all of my family, friends and fellow racers has meant the world to me. This support combined with knowing this is what God has planned for me always leads me back to the same calming and reassuring answer. I know He will help prepare me mentally, financially and emotionally to the degree of which is necessary because I am meant to go on this trip.

Again, I want to thank everyone who has come along side me through prayer and support thus far. For anyone who is interested a few more fundraisers are coming up!

1st: I have relaunched my t-shirt fundraiser for another 3 week stint. I have been told by a lot of people that wanted to buy one but forgot. Thank you for your interest.

2nd: June 24th: Pancake Breakfast at Mechanicsburg Brethren in Christ Church (1050 S York St, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055). Come on out for breakfast at the church that helped ignite my faith journey back when I was in Middle School, to help support me with where God is leading me to go next as a college graduate. I could not be more excited for this missions trip opportunity with Adventures in Missions as a part of the October 2017 Route 2 team. I would love to share more about it with all of you. We will be serving breakfast all morning with brief presentations about my trip at 9am and 10am. There is no set price, just donate whatever you feel led to. Please RSVP by emailing me at [email protected] or on Facebook ( https://www.facebook.com/events/1532663183456785/?active_tab=about ) so we know how many people to prepare for! Anyone is welcome!

Thank you all for your continual interest and support in this pursuit! As I mentioned before it really does mean a great deal to me and I could not do it without you.
