I was raised
in a Christian home, a “PK” for much of my childhood and into my teen
years. Growing up in that environment, I knew the Bible, I knew basic Christianity,
but I did not KNOW God. Also, seeing much of the inside and out of church
politics took its toll and partially led to a streak of rebellion that festered
and grew well into my late teens. But
God continued to place people in my life that subtly mentored me and spent the
time to show me who God is and that He is so much more than what the church represents
at times. As a result, I was able to find my way to a relationship with God that
never ceases to amaze and challenge me on a daily basis. I now work for a
ministry called Association of Christian Schools, International where I have
been blessed to work for and with an amazing group of people dedicated to
furthering the Kingdom of God through Christian education around the world. It
has been an honor to serve alongside them. However, Soon I will be changing direction as God has
been leading me to serve in a different capacity in 2010. I am very excited
about the World Race and the opportunities and challenges that will be
presented leading up to and along the way.
