Hey!!! All is well here in Tanzania!!! Let me catch you up on what’s been happening!!!! So this week we got to build a pig pen for the pastor!!!! That was pretty interesting!!! Right now the pigs are only babes, and the family is going to raise them and eat them!!! We also went to a funeral this week, and gave words of encouragement to the people. The funeral was at a house I prayed before we began the service, and my teammate said a few words. Why we were asked to go? I have no idea! We don’t ask questions anymore we just do what we are told!
We went to a university this week and go to speak, and had a church serive with college students!!! Also there was a fun day held with the children from the church!!!! Those are so much fun!!! The children love it when we come and play with them and teach them Bible stories!!!! Then we also visited a children’s orphanage!!! I had a blast!!! The parents of the orphange are great people and definitely should be lifted in tons of prayer!!!!!!!!!!!!
A really huge thing we got to do this week was visiting the home of widow and the elderly!!!!! The first house we visited, her husband died and three of her children as well!! Her grandchildren take care of her and live with her!! Getting to encourage her and pray with her and lift her spirits was pretty exciting and definitely made an impact!!!!!!! The next house we visited was a married couple and their grandmother. The grandmother had a badly broken leg that could not be realigned!!!!! Thus, we prayed for healing for her!!! My heart felt alot of compassion for her!!! The walker that she had to use was not fit for anyone with injury!!!! It was extremely heavy and could really hurt her back!!!! I pray God will give her strength to make it and heal her leg!!!
