When many people heard that I was going on The World Race, they were super excited and happy for me! Most of the responses that I recieved were: “Wow!, That’s cool!,” “Your going to be changed!,” “Your going to see things that you never have seen before!,” and this phrase most of all, “Your going to realize how well we got it over here and that they don’t have anything!” Well as true as those statements are that’s not the reason for the race! Matt 28: 16-20 says, 16. “Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus has told them to go. 17. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18. Then Jesus came to them and said, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20. and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.'” We were commissioned to go and make disciples of all nations, and to baptize them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Point blank, that is the reason for The World Race. Some where down the line that has been forgotten in the church and in lives of others. We have lost sight of the mission. As beautiful as all of the countries maybe and as bad as the people may have it, we are commissioned to go save souls! No matter what happens, the struggles, the good times, the not so good, and the tough times. We need to remember the mission! Whether rich or poor, good or bad, healthy or sick, unified or disgruntled(stay unified), we are called to save souls. We have an opportunity to speak life into others, bring a message of faith, hope, and love. I am so pumped and excited about doing this mission along side of all of you. God is most definitely working through our lives and the lives of others. Let us take every opportunity to share the gospel with others. Remember the Mission!!!!!!!!!! We cannot forget the mission!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
