The biggest battle to win is in the mind!!! Satan attacks the mind and it hinders so many people from enjoying life and living in true freedom! The fear of rejection is a huge fear that people deal with which leaves us asking time after time ‘am I loved’! Being satisfied with God’s love is probably one the biggest struggles I have delt with!!! I have always heard phrases like ‘the Creator loves you’ and ‘God’s nature is love’! What does that mean? It worked for me for like a few days and then I would struggle all over again!!
Thus, there is a weight in the term God is your creator and he loves you!!! The saying ‘you are your father’s son’ is heavy!! So if God is my father than I must be my father’s son!! With earthly parents there are characteristics that we take from them both good and bad. There are many ways I am just like my father and just like my mother!!! There are dormant traits that are in my father and mother that could blossom through me, my brother, or sister!! So if God is my Father do I look like Him?!!!! What does that mean that He loves me? Do I look like my Father? In other words, do I look like God? Am I growing to be like Christ more and more each day?
God does not change He has so many characterisitics that if we learned new ones everyday we still would not fully know him!!! I believe that when God looks at us he looks at Himself!! We are our Father’s children!!! Thus, being created by the Creater is deeper than just ‘God’s nature is love’!!! I believe He is our father and when we are reedemed, He resides in us!!
As we deepen our walk with him we grow into who our Father is!!! For example, God is a God of peace so peace is something that is a part of you that came from the Father!! God is God of kindness, justice, love, patience, joy ,and many more!!! We are our Father’s children!!! So what did Daddy redeem you of and what characteristic from Himself did he leave upon your life?? Dive into who our Father is, and let His love completely satisfy you!!!!
God was talking to me and telling me that He was enough and as long as I have Him. I’m okay!! Truly being secure in Christ is something that is extremely hard to do!!! We must abide in Him!!!!!!!!!!!
