Hey supporters and everybody else who views this blog! I pray that

God is blessing you and that your relationship with him is consistently growing.  I would just like to start by thanking all of you who have supported me.  Your support has allowed me to come to a place in my life where I can grow and develop a deeper walk with Christ and spur others on to do the same.  May God Bless you for your contributions, prayers, and simply following along with my blogs!

Now let’s get to it!  Recently the Lord has been teaching me about choices.  All my life I have been taught to make the right choice or to make the right decision!  I’ve heard this speech for so long and the tune to the same song for so long.  Thus, when I hear about choices I never really focus on the importance of choice until a few days ago!
I went to a place called BQ Mall in Bohol!  This place is the hangout spot for many people! The area we are located in has tons of people everywhere! No privacy at all!!!  There is absolutely no where for me to blend in either especially since I am the only visible black person in the Philippines and I was with my team leader who is like one of a hand full of white people in Bohol!  Plus my team leader was like 2 feet taller then everybody.  Needless to say, we stick out!  We decided to go to the mall and do some blogging or emailing!  Right by the window was a poor kid who was dirty and looking for a bite to eat!  At the same time I myself was eating and enjoying my meal until I saw this.  As bad as I wanted to help the children, I had nowhere enough food to feed them or the money!  I was burdened by this for the afternoon and I thought about my life in America!  I can choose to go get fast food whenever I want! I could choose to have comforts when I wanted!  I could choose to take hot showers when I wanted!  I can choose to have nice things when blessed with the opportunity! However, the children in my view could eat only when provided!  They don’t have the option of getting nice clothes.  The showers are taken outside with a bucket and a water hose, if there is one.  The toilets that are used are pretty much a bowl in the ground.  Yet, through all of these tough situations they chose to show me love.  They chose to show me joy.  They chose to show me hospitality that I have never seen before!  When ever we would walk into these homes that were poor they went out of their way to feed me like I have never eaten before. They chose to smile when from the looks of things there was nothing to smile about.
I’m not talking about optimism but I’m talking about through joining the ICM program they are making to choice to put their faith in God and pursue a better way of life! By the poverty that they are given they have limited choices! They can either give up or trust in God and strive forward every single day!
Now, I’m not saying that being blessed to have nice things is
wrong, because it is a true blessing from the Heavenly Father! I’m just
simply saying that as much as we are willing to recieve blessings, we
should be that much more willing to bless others in the name of Jesus
Christ!  I thank God dearly for the blessings that he has given me, but
I’m much more thankful when he allows me to bless others.

We are all given choices, and yes they do effect the people around us!  If we chose to make terrible decisions the outcome of those decisions can limit the choices of how other people live their lives.  There are so many people in the world that have been effected by horrible choices from family members or strangers.  Father’s who chose to walk out on their families give children limited choices.  Families who are stuck in generational sin give family members limited choices.  People who chose a life of crime and abuse or rape other loved ones give people limited choices.

Nonetheless, there is one factor that can redeem our horrible choices that have been made in life!  That is none other than our heaven father!!!!!  By the blood of Christ through his love and stubborn grace we are allowed to have lives fit for the Kingdom!  It is only through him that our choices that we make are redeemed!  Thus, the people who chose to make choices that have harmed others and the victims of those decisions are allowed to live a life for the kingdom is, because of the blood of Christ has redeemed our sinful choices.
As we go through life the closer our relationship with God is the better the decisions we will make! Only by the strength of the almighty God are we able to live a life fit for the kingdom.  Thank God for you people who were prompted by the Holy Spirit to support me!  I’m very thankful for the opportunity to serve and love people all across the world!  It is by the Lord working through you that I was able to start The World Race and it is by the Lord continuing to use you and others that I will be allowed to finish!  I currently have $5,360 in my account! Praise God for that!  Now I need to have 8,500 by April 1st which is my next deadline!  The final goal is to have $13,800! By the grace of God and with your help this goal can be reached! I pray that you will join or continue to support me in this journey!  God Bless you and may he protect you!
