Coming to Malaysia I was ready to hit the ground running!  It seems that every time I get excited about doing something, God always slows me down and says whoa grasshopper check with me first.  Thus, this months ministry has not gone as I anticipated.  I suppose that’s okay because whenever we make plans God most definitely changes it.  As we were talking to our ministry contact it sounded like this month would be busy.  However, that has not been the case so far.  Many of the ministries that were supposed to be done this month have fallen through so far.  So these past two weeks we have just participated in a few small groups and church services!  As well as a little bit of painting and cleaning the church that we are staying in.  As a team we have been praying about what the ministry of Malaysia is supposed to like!  Since we have been praying God revealed to us that this month we are really just needed to pray!

These past weeks as a team we have gotten up early in the morning and we have prayer runs.  That’s really cool to start our day with and a good way of waking us up!!  Yesterday we started our 24h prayer ministry!  All of us take three hours of the day to pray for the city of Malaysia and whatever else is on our hearts. (This is a side note. If you need prayer for anything just post it on my blog and I will make sure to do so!)  This has been a great time for me to spend with the Lord and just to talk with him about what’s on my heart!  It has also been a great way to pray for ministry opportunities!

Nonetheless, in the few little bits and pieces of ministry that we have gotten to participate in, God has done big things.  One night in a small group precious souls have been saved.  Another night in a small group there has been a woman whom has had a different spirit in here body.  My teammates got to pray over her and God healed her that night.  It was not pretty at all!!! The spirit that was in her did not want them there!  She had practiced Hinduism and the spirit was allowed to over take her body.  Through the power of prayer and God presence the spirit left her! Praise God! It was through few situations that I just previous mentioned that God has moved in big ways!  These next few weeks I know that God will give us more opportunities to share his word! Until then we will continue to pray without ceasing and expect God to be the big piece in our bits and pieces of ministry that we do!
