So here’s everything that’s going into my pack! I’ll try to describe some of it, but if you have questions, or suggestions of stuff I didn’t pack, PLEASE feel free to let me know! Shoot away!
Yellow bag is my tent, with poles above it. Green bag is my sleeping bag, with sleeping pad below it.
Below my 55 liter pack is my airporter, and 100′ of paracord. The little green thing above my pack is a rain cover for my pack. To the right of my pack is my rain jacket. Right of the jacket is my toiletries and jumbo microfiber towel in the ziploc, and also my solar-powered LED christmas lights or my tent. The blue pillowcase holds my “useful stuff” that’s above it – outlet converter, pocket knife, multi-tool, gorilla tape, flashlight, patch kit, headlamp, deck of cards.
For clothes, I have 4 tshirts, 1 nice button down, 1 pair of outdoor/waterproof/bugproof/zipoff pants, plus a tshirt gym shorts and gym pants in my daypack, and the jeans and shirt I’m wearing. Oh and boxers and socks of course, including my favorite gray and teal argyle socks, courtesy of Kyle and Abby. (SUPER comfy).
Below my daypack is my nalgene, powerstrip, solar-charged-backup-battery for charging anything with a USB port, deck of cards, collapsible cup/bowl, spork, laptop charger, external hard-drive plus flash drives and SD cards, bible, book, journals, and of course, engineering paper. Couldn’t ever go without that.
And it all fits, with lots of room to spare! See, look!
Am I forgetting anything???
My backpack weighs 26 lbs, and my daypack weights 10 lbs.
