I felt the call to full time missions when I went on my second mission trip to Panama. This really helped me see how the world needs help and I believe I can do something about it. Through this trip, it gave me a heart for missions and compassion for the lost people that need to be reached.
I was reading this book called Greater by Steven Furtick, it really stirred something in me. It
was all about how God has something greater for your life and how you can follow after the call to live the greater life. There is this saying at the end of the book, “dream bigger, start smaller.” I couldn’t get it out of my head. So I thought to myself, dream bigger would be signing up for The World Race. I had a few family members tell me that I should sign up for it and had a really good friend go through it as well. So I signed up for The World Race and had such peace about it that only God gives you when you follow after His will for your life. I knew this was the right direction for my life and what I’m passionate about. God does say in His word, Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone. (Mark 16:15)
