Most people think the church is a building that we go to on a Sunday morning to hear some really cool worship and to hear a pastor preach a sermon that going to inspire you. Then going to a small group or bible study during the week.
Don't get me wrong, I though this was church for a long time. There is nothing wrong with this if your still see lives changed. But church is so much more than this. The World Race has showed me that the church can be so much more.
Church is.
When you are living in community with each other.
When you give your brothers and sisters in Christ feedback on what they need to change in a loving way or encourage them in what they are really good at.
When your being vulnerable about what you really struggle with with each other or what been through in your past so you can receive healing from that situation.
Where your just worshiping together no matter what place you are at.
When you come together as the body of Christ to pray and seek more of God.
When you’re out on the streets or a garbage dump showing the LOVE of Christ to a people and building relationship with them.
The bible says we are the body of Christ and the body is the church. So you can be the church anywhere you go and you don't have to be in a curtain building. You don’t have to be a pastor to share the LOVE of Christ. The Bible say “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth.” Matthew 28:18 God has already given you that authority through the Holy Spirit when you enter in a relationship with God. So start walking in that authority and be the that church someone is looking for.
