So the rents and I left their house at 4:30pm for what would be my longest time in transit and hopefully (although doubtfully) will stand as my longest time in transit.

A 3 hour trip down from Abbotsford to Seattle kicked the journey off letting my parents in on a brand new adventure of their own… Krispy Kreme, their first time having the world’s most delectable melt-in-your-mouth donuts!!!   Next 2 hours of waiting led to a Wonderful 4 hour flight followed by 2 more hours of waiting in Chicago and a 47 minute flight to Columbus.
My dear friend Eric was there (somewhat late but here nonetheless) to pick me up, run some errands and wait around again until we met up with Josh and hightailed it to Cincinatti (a 1 and a half hour trip) to go out for dinner and catch a Greyhound to Brownsville Texas.  But wait!  That’s a delayed bus which leaves 3 hours late.  To make an already long story short, after 3 consecutive red eye nights we arrived at the the Southernmost tip of Texas
64 hours after I left my home in Abbotsford Canada!!!  But what an adventure it was.

Thank you so much for everyone’s prayers for smoothness in going across the border, and for safety during our trip down.  The adventure itself hasn’t even started yet and I am pooped.
