Isn’t if funny how when you look back on things and actually take in all the information and see the big picture, that’s when things usually aren’t as bad as they seem compared to when you were in the circumstances.
Over the last week, especially since the June Racers have joined us here in Swazi, I have just been invigorated. There is something about getting fresh blood, a new perspective, and different faces, that excites me and makes me see things in a better light. Yeah, sure things were tough sometimes, plans rarely worked out, communication was a constant frustration, team stuff was brutal, many times I felt utterly discouraged, and so on… but look at what God did during all those times!!
Psalm 138:7-8 “Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch our Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and Your right hand will save me. The LORD will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O LORD, endures forever…”
Look at the amazing change he brought about in our lives, look at the miracles He decided to work through us, look at the glory that He brought to His name through all things!!

So, I am not being a sensationalist and painting everything with a, “perfect, everything is peachy,” brush but I just want to let you all know at home that things are OK, God is great and we are at a depth in relationship deeper than I have ever experienced. God is good; His love unconditional.
I won’t lie, it also great to see these new guys cause finally I feel like I have the upper hand about something, finally we are not the guinea pigs with the wide eyes that don’t know what’s going on!! We are in charge of how training for them is going so it is great to impart to them little bits of knowledge. But, come on, we all know that learning comes through experience, so tons of prayer that they will be teachable is what is happening too.
This isn’t about doing the most ministry, having the longest prayer time or singing the loudest. This is about awakening individuals as to who Christ is and what life in Him looks like! So we do what we can, we empower, we give tips and we just model lives totally and utterly on fire for our Lord Jesus Christ. Not in front of a church, not in official ministry times, but at home during breakfast or in the evening playing speed scrabble. Our God is God of EVERYTHING!! I know this sounds cheesy but the Lord has impressed this on my spirit a bunch lately.

We give our everything, to Him who has Everything, just to realize He is EVERYTHING.
