If you have seen any of my photography work over the past year check into this… I will keep this short and simple…
Over the past year, The Lord has blessed me tremendously by placing my lens in front of His creation at the most opportune moments.
I have told my story through uploading these photographs and simply leaving the rest up to the reader's interpretation.
Every picture has a story behind it and today I want to tell you a story and ask for your help.

It was a hot afternoon in Kenya, Africa and my team and I were making our rounds by walking hut to hut praying for the members of the community that we were staying in. We walked into a particular hut and found this old man sitting in the corner slowly turning his head to welcome us into the house. As we sat and introduced ourselves we found that the man had struggled with smoking and drinking for a good period of his life.. But he was over it. Now, I have seen many people swear off addictions due to the high of the moment, but something was special about this guy. As my team went to lay hands on him, I stepped out to capture the true starting line of his journey.
As we said "amen", he took the cigarette from behind his ear and laid it down as a physical representation of the new life he wanted to start. The Lord calls us to be the light and through Him we are simply the mirrors shining His glory.
Without my knowledge, this picture and one of my videos was entered into a "story telling" contest put on by World Race . I am so very honored to see something so simple have impact beyond my scope.
If you wouldn't mind taking a minute, clicking on this link, and voting my picture (Starting Line) and video (We are the World) through I would greatly appreciate it. I have the opportunity to win $1,000 to hopefully kickstart my new photography venture!! 🙂
