Lemons aren’t always perfectly genetically altered. They aren’t always smooth. Tangerines aren’t always orange. In America we think they should be because that’s all we know. But this simple example is the whole reason behind some of our biggest struggles in the American Church. The reality of it is…here in Latin and South America, these things are real and genuine. They aren’t altered to look better or more appealing. They are authentic. And in the end…this is actually better for your health.
Here’s the deal. Life doesn’t come genetically altered. Life is not meant to be perfect. Life is not about how it looks. Life is about how you love.
When life gives you lemons, take advantage of them…it may not look like much at the time, but if you don’t use them or invest in them you’ll never know what they might turn out to be.
And when lemons aren’t perfect…choose joy.
Some of the best things in life make no sense.
Some of the best relationships came as a surprise. That’s because love has no logic. Jesus is love and love is a choice.
