We spent our first week in Moldova in a
small village named Gotesti (pronounced Go-tesh-t). There we worked with Pastor
Mark helping to renovate the church. It was a great experience especially on
Sunday when I was given the opportunity to share a message at 2 churches.
I shared with the 2 congregations Psalm
119:105 “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path”. I shared that
literally if we’re walking in the dark we’re going to trip/fall/get lost/etc.
but with a light we can see where we’re going. It’s the same in our daily
lives. If we’re living in the dark we wont see the challenges we face and we’ll
struggle. But with God’s word being the light at our feet we’ll never walk in
darkness (John 8:12).
Since the villages here are so small, they
don’t really have places set up for teams to stay together, so for housing 3 of
the girls (Amanda, Bethsaida & Sarah) went to Jullian’s house, Derek went
to Igor’s house, while Cinthia and I went to Luba’s.
Luba and her husband were in their 70s and
living there for the week was challenging (due to the language barrier) but
Cinthia and I found joy throughout our stay.
On Monday, October 10 we piled all our
stuff into a van, and took off to Burlacu to spend a week there.

We’re still in need of more financial support. We’re currently in need of $7,153.19 to be fully funded. Help be a part of this life changing experience, consider partnering with us monthly!
