We had originally planned to have a garage sale on May 8th, unfortunately it rained, so this week we prayed every day for Saturday to be a beautiful day and God delivered! (Matthew 7:7)
For the past few weeks we had collected items from various friends, priced them, and piled them up in the Ramirez’s garage (thanks for the storage space by the way!)
At 6am we woke up, had a quick breakfast, said a prayer and began setting up. From 6:45 until noon we had a constant flow of people and we sold most of what was donated.
Those of you who helped supply our garage sale, thank you!
After donating what was leftover, we were able to determine that we had raised:
$531.53
from the garage sale! That is absolutely incredible! Praise God!
Along with all we raised at the garage sale, we have recently received other generous donations, that have helped us reach 66% of our total goal!
That means we only need $9,520 until we’ve reached 100%!!!
Right now, Cinthia and I are looking for monthly partners. That means pledging to give a consistent monthly donation.
If we have 60 people donate $20/month between now and December, we’ll have reached our goal!
