With our month in
Johannesburg behind us, it’s amazing to see all of the ways God showed himself
to us time, and time again.
Our daily routine was
to pray in the morning, and then see what God brought our way.
Here are some of the
many ways in which we served:
We took turns (including our unofficial
teammate John) cooking for everyone.
We got to play with the manager’s son.
)
We met various travellers.
We helped brighten up the place with lots of painting.
We got to play with kids at Child Haven.
We got to meet part of the University of
Johannesburg student congregation.
The guys got to take Neal (the manager) out…
…while
the girls got to throw a baby shower for his girlfriend, Reinette!
We got to share stories with a lovely café
owner.
We also got to meet
some of the most amazing people every who showed us yet another level of
hospitality. We cannot thank everyone enough for blessing us as much as they
did.
