“Life is ministry, ministry is life.”

The most frequent question asked and the most important aspect of this thing called the World Race is what exactly we will be doing.

Our answer: ministry looks different in each country!

This ‘blog’ probably can’t be justified as being a blog since we haven’t actually left yet for this missions trip, we obviously don’t yet have the personal & physical experiences of the exact types of ministry we will be doing for each country. Because of this, we’ve listed just a few examples of past World Race ministries that have taken place in each country we’re going to with links for blog posts written about people’s ministry experiences!

What we do know:

Our top priority no matter what country we’re in is to love people the way Jesus loves them.

To spread the Gospel in every single country we enter.

To evangelize and serve, to be the hands and feet of Jesus for every single person we encounter, no matter what our ministry ‘task’ is for that month.

To use our individual God-given talents & gifts to serve others.

The God we serve is never limited. So if we had original instructions to serve in a hospital for a month and He tells us that He wants us to instead serve children living in the streets, then we will do exactly that. Where He calls us, we will respond and obey.

Personally, Jon & I feel a call to pray over as many people as we possibly can. While traveling in airports and on buses, while walking down busy streets, while serving in homes, for our teammates, where ever we are and whatever we are doing, we know we need to lay hands on as many as we can and pray over them.

Through God’s amazing grace, we have been so blessed with the partnership of many generous donors!! We want this to be just as much of a Kingdom journey for our partners as it is for us! We are still extending an open invitation to our friends & family to prayerfully consider becoming a monthly donor: Ask the Lord if He wants you to partner with us financially and wait for the answer He puts on your heart!

Another way in which people have helped us is donating items through our registry wishlist! This is a list of items that we need to most efficiently live out of a backpack and a tent for a year! We only need a few more items! If you feel called to donate through our registry list, you can visit https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/ls/ref=?ie=UTF8&%2AVersion%2A=1&%2Aentries%2A=0&lid=1WIIBFEI6MOQ&ty=wishlist to check it out!!

We are in constant thanks and gratitude for the generosity in which so many people have shown us in SO many different ways!

Living radically in His Name,

Jon & Kelsey
