These Feet sat in a chair and gave me the opportunity to wash them.
These Feet inspire me every day to be the best person I can be.
These Feet belong to the women I call my Hero. These Feet belong to my Mom.
Have you ever gotten to opportunity to wash the feet of those who whole heartily serve you and or the people around you? It’s an opportunity to show respect, to serve them in a way that symbolizes all they do. I was blessed to have this opportunity when my Mom came out to Guatemala to not only visit but walk alongside me in ministry for the week. See the feet that carry her do not only carry her weight but the weight of our family, which ? of that weight belongs to me. Everything I have done, she has been in the background pushing and supporting. Where I walk, she walks right behind me. Her feet deserved to be honored for all they do. Words could never describe how much i appreciate her, honor her, respect her, value her. But I hope in this act I can show in a small way what she means to me, and how it does not go unnoticed. Every step, every hug, every lesson. So if you’re reading this (which I know you are cause your my biggest supporter) just know you inspire me everyday to be a better me, your my hero, and I love you Momma. You deserve the world and more.
