Hello Everyone!
Just a few things about myself, I’m currently 22 years old and was born and raised in Sanford, ME. I am the youngest of three and blessed to say my parents created a loving home for us on a small lake called Estes. While attending high school I also received a Vocational school degree in Precision Manufacturing. My hobbies include Hiking, playing sports, kayaking, snowboarding, camping, and exploring nature. If there is an opportunity for an adventure you can count me in.
What Brought me Here?
After High school I began pursuing a career as a CNC machinist with a promising company which at first I thought was all I needed. As a few years went by and I began to establish myself in the “real world” I began to feel as if I was not doing what I was put here to do. I wanted to take advantage of my youth and explore all the vast parts of this beautiful country. After communicating with two good friends we decided we were going to do just that. We saved as much as we could in 8 months, purchased a camper and set off. No destination, No real plan. We had supplies and two simple things Faith and Passion. With these we believed we would find our paths. So off we went three boys no older then 21 raised in a small town in Maine with a dream to see the world. I ended up spending my summers working at a beautiful family owned campground on Hebgen Lake MT, 5mi outside the west gate of Yellowstone NP. I had spent a winter working at the Park City ski resort in UT and living in Salt Lake City. In the off seasons I would pack up my hiking gear, gather all my gas money and go as many places as possible that I had not yet seen. I had gone from the Maine coast to the Oregon coast, saw more of this country then I could ever imagine. But during my second summer at the campground I had made the realization that even though this was all the adventure and exploring I could ever want, I wanted something more. I knew it was time to put aside my personal desires for the desires of humanity. I want to create a change using the spread of love and hope while reaching out to those who need it, use the opportunities I was blessed with and create opportunities for those who have so little. I am truly grateful to say The World Race is making my passion a reality.
