Today I was talking to one of the kids in our youth. A while back we were all talking about whether your cup is half full or half empty. Some of the kids said it was just half. I said I see it half full. I like to see everything with optimism.
But today one of the kids asked me if my glass was half full or half empty.
I told him my glass was overflowing. Because Gods love is just pouring into me, and all I can see is good.
Then he asked why is it a cup, why can’t it be a bucket. Because we should have a lot more of God’s love.
And it made me think.
What I told him is that we are like cups, small and can be filled easily. God holds all his love in a bucket
and pours it into our cup. When our cup starts to over flow it pours out into all the cups around us.
The best part is that Gods bucket of love never stops flowing.
You know, it is amazing to think that God pours so much love into us that it overflows.
God wants us to be a fountain of love that pours out all over the world.
Now I will ask you, is your cup half full or half empty?
Or are you overflowing with God’s love?
