Abba– “Daddy, Papa, my dear Father.”
One thing I have noticed is that through the whole Bible God was just God. He was as he is now, but one thing has changed. That one thing turned every aspect of God upside down. Jesus said one word that changed our view towards God; it started a revolution in the hearts of all.
Jesus said one word, and made it more real than we can imagine.
Jesus said Father. God is our Father, our Daddy. It made it what God wanted it to be with all of us.
It made it a relationship. We are children, sons and daughters.
It turned the world upside down; every thought about what or who God was is answered with that one word, Father. From the beginning to now God has been a father to His children. From Adam all the way to YOU.
God has longed for a relationship with us. Begging for us to come to the Garden and walk with Him again. He adores us, He loves us, and He longs for us to come to Him. He wants to have a personal, one on one relationship with us. A relationship that no matter what, there is nothing but love and mercy.
2 Corinthians 12: 9-10
9-Each time he said “My Grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weakness so that the power of Christ can work through me. 10- That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
His Grace is enough, His love is enough.
