Hello everyone!
I am sending this letter to inform you that I will be going on a missions trip in September 2015! After travelling to El Salvador in July 2014 for a 10 day missions trip I felt God calling me to something more. More than just a 8-5 job. Possibly something in ministry.
I will be going on this trip called the World Race through the ministry organization Adventures in Mission. I will be gone for 11 months visiting 11 different countries! The countries I’ll be visiting are: Moldova, Romania, Kosovo, Albania, Mozambique, Swaziland, South Africa, Columbia, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia. I will be spending one month in each country doing varying missions work. Each day could be different doing anything from ministering in schools, to doing construction, to praying for the sick, etc.
I am very excited for this opportunity that God has placed before me; and my heart behind this decision is I want to experience Him like never before, grow and learn more about Him, myself and the world around us and to see where He is calling me to.
With that being said, I would like to ask two things of you. The first (and most important) is that I’m going to be in great need of prayer, for myself and my fellow squad mates! This is going to be a very different and stretching experience for me, so I would greatly appreciate prayer leading up to and throughout the length of my trip. I ask for prayer for our health – physical, mental, emotional and spiritual, for protection from the evil of this world as well as the spirit world, for safe travels each and every day and between each country, and for the ability to lay myself down before the throne and let God use and change me however He sees fit.
Secondly, I will be in great need of financial support. I need to raise $16,257, which will cover all of my field expenses for the entirety of my 11 month trip.
