Just left the place I’ve called home for the last 20 years to embark on my 11 month journey with the Lord that will take me to the following countries:

Macedonia

Romania

Albania

Kosovo

Mozambique

South Africa

Swaziland

Columbia

Ecuador

Peru

Bolivia

10 months of planning, prepping and fundraising, and it has seemed so surreal.

Until now.

Now it’s really happening. It’s time I venture out on my own with everything I’ll need for 11 months stuffed into two packs.

Pre-stuffing

Do I feel prepared for this trip? Absolutely not. I keep asking God, “God wouldn’t you rather send someone else? Someone with more knowledge, more confidence, who is more outspoken?”.

But He continues to remind me that He doesn’t call the equipped but that He equips the called.

So I feel all I can do is respond with Isaiah 6:8,

“Then I heard the Lord asking, “Whom should I send as a messenger to this people? Who will go for us?” I said, “Here I am. Send me.”

And I will find encouragement in the following verses:

Hebrews 13:20a,21a

“Now may the God of peace…equip you with all you need for doing his will. May he produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is pleasing to him.”

Hebrews 10:36

“Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised.”

I want thank each and every one of you who has encouraged me, supported me, prayed for me, and blessed me. I would have never made it this far without every bit of it!

I hope that you will continue to follow along with me, support me, pray for me and encourage me as I officially start my journey!

Specifically you can pray that I would find courage and comfort in the Lord as I leave the comforts of home, my loved ones, and parts of myself as I step into the unknown. As well as guidance as I was just made the treasurer for my team.

Again, thank you and I love all of you! Thanks for reading!
