This month we’re in Tirana, Albania doing what is called ‘Man’istry! Which means that all of us guys on the squad are together as one team this month.

This is a great opportunity for us guys to get to work together and push each other towards greatness, to share what things God had brought us through and how we can help each other through those things, and to grow together in godly masculinity.

For me though, this process started at the end of month 1, when I finished reading Wild At Heart (I highly encourage you to read it, whether you’re a guy or girl). God used that book to show me so much about how my upbringing and the church’s false definition of godly men has shaped who I am today.

I am still processing through the things it brought to light and unlearning misguided habits. But I am hopeful that this month (and the rest of the Race) will help me continue that process. To discover what a real man of God looks like (as that is one of the reasons I came on the Race).

As for ministry for the team and I this month, the focus is youth ministry. Which means taking part in their small group, playing soccer with the youth, leading an English service and just investing in their lives.

A few of the guys have also been helping teach English to grade school kids, while others have been helping our host’s brother with conversational English, and I (along with 3 of the guys) have been working on building benches for the church.

If you would like to partner with me and my team here are a few things to be praying for:

-Wisdom and guidance from the Holy Spirit as there isn’t a whole lot of scheduled ministry.

-To take advantage of every opportunity to pour into the lives of the youth and everyone we come into contact here.

-To help each other grow more into true masculinity.

-To stay present and invested in the people and ministry here. (As we just found out what next month’s ministry is, which I’ll post more about later)

Thank you for all your prayers and continued support! I am still in need of a few funds. So if you would, please prayerfully consider donating so that I can continue the work here in Albania and over the next 8 months.

I am currently at $14,010 and I need to raise the last $2,257 in 6 weeks.

God bless and thanks for reading!
