I've been called Jon, Jonny, Jonny Boy, Jon Boy, Jonafin, Jon Avery, Jonny Aves, Jon the Baptist, Marty, Bob, Foo Foo, Jonny Foo, Erik, Carl, Mr. Avery, Avery, Ginger, that guy with the red hair, kid, buddy, dude, bro, son, cuz, David, Dave, Louie, #1, Juan, Jonatán, best friend, Jon the supplier of laughs, the smart kid, a clown… I answer to pretty much anything.

I am a lover. I am loved. I am a fighter. I am broken. I am bruised. I am scarred. I am healed. I am a sinner. I am forgiven. I am restored. I am renewed. I am fearfully and wonderfuly made. I am clumsy. I am graceful. I am teacher. I am a learner. I am trusting. I am stuborn. I am persistent. I am a salvationist. I am easily confused. I am a procrastinator. I am devoted. I am a Christian. I am a believer. I am saved. I am a hipocrate. I am follower. I am leader. I am right. I am wrong. I am dependant. I am independant. I am a brother. I am a cousin. I am a son. I am a grandson. I am a nephew. I am reliable. I am forgetful. I am scared. I am brave. I am in need. I am joyful. I am weary. I am weak. I am strengthened. I am a "glass always full" kinda guy. I am thirsty for more. I am curious. I am lonely. I am rejected. I am befriended. I am supported. I am lost. I am found. I am softspoken. I am withdrawn. I am outgoing. I am a living sacrifice. I am a voice. I am a son of God. 

I am amazed. I am excited. I am called. I am willing. I am ready. I am ready for change.

I am Jonathan David Avery.
But I would be nothing without God.

A few extra things about me:
  • I'm 20 years old.

    • Although I'm still sometimes offered the kid menu…
  • I am the second of four children.

    • I have an older brother, 23, a younger brother, 18, and a younger sister, 9.
  • I love/collect all things Coca-Cola related.

    • I could wear a different Coke shirt everyday of the week.
  • I love listening to music.

    • I also play the cornet, piano, and I'm teaching myself guitar.
  • I love singing.

    • Regardless of whether I actually know the song or not.
  • I love watching movies!

    • Anything from "chick-flicks" to shoot-em-up actions types.
  • I'm not scared of spiders.

    • I'm terrified…
  • I love traveling by any means.

    • Especially in a plane!
  • I love animals.

    • Dogs rule, cats drool! 😛 [Well I guess dogs drool, like for real, but they're still better than cats!]
  • I have some INSANE dreams!

    • Half the time I can't remember them though.
  • I think it's extremely important to just stop, relax, and enjoy the little things. :]
