In just a few months I'll be across the ocean, thousands of miles from home, in one of the 11 countries that I will be spending 11 months of my life in with people I have never met before (but I'm sure I'll get to know and love), and I have no idea what to expect!

There are, however, a few things I'm sure I can expect while I'm gone.

I expect to be challenged in ways I've never been challenged before.

I expect to be used by God to the fullest of my abilities.

I expect to grow closer to God personally and live that relationship out loud for everyone to see and hear.

I expect my mom to clean my room once a week (it's this thing she does when I'm gone and she's missing me) even without anyone actually sleeping in it or messing it up.

I expect all of you, my friends and family, to be in fervent prayer for me and my Squad in whatever country we are in at the time.

I expect that others will be born or reborn into a strong relationship with Jesus Christ as a result of our ministries in whatever cities we get dumped in.

I expect to learn what it truly means to be content with what you have.

I expect to scream more than once due to my life being threatened by my mortal enemies that some people refer to as spiders…

I expect to fall in love with the people of these countries.

I expect goodbyes each month will be hard.

I expect to continually be amazed by the awesomeness that is God.

I expect to learn so much about the world and myself.

I expect to see some amazing sights!

I expect to miss everyone here in the US tremendously.

I expect to grow a new love for actual toilets.

I expect to grow a new appreciation for everything I've been given in life.

I expect to come home with a new outlook on life itself.

and

I expect the unexpected.

Don't forget to click on the link on the side to get alerted each time I update my blog! And I'm still in great need financially and deadlines seem to be running towards me. Please pray about it, and if you feel like God is leading you to contribute, support me, and help make this possible, I greatly appreciate it! I can't do this alone!
