So I’m not going to be leaving the country in June. I know, it’s such a shock since I’ve been talking non-stop about the race since last June and probably before that. I will still be going to training camp in early June though, so I am going to be leaving on the 2nd from Canyon. I will just be coming back.
Honestly, I am hurt. I am really disappointed in myself and in how I won’t be leaving the country when I said I would. I feel like you all are disappointed and I can’t shake the feeling that I let people down.
I’ll still be leaving, but I delayed it until August. I’ll be leaving the 1st of August and the new countries that I’ll be going to are as follows: Mongolia, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Romania, Bulgaria, Albania, and Greece.
I don’t have a clue as to what I’m doing, but I bought a sticker for my water bottle in the fall semester that says, “And if not, He is still good.” Through all of the heartache and the disappointment, I know that whatever I am going to experience will be for the betterment of the Kingdom.
