This past month has been so crazy. I started my senior year of college, started my internship, and have been completing assignments like crazy. To top it all off, I started gathering my things for the race!

Let me tell you guys, I am so proud, because I received my packing cubes to put clothes in yesterday, and I feel like this trip is sneaking up on me, even though it’s still 9 months away!

I have kicked off my fundraising with a coin jar fundraiser and I am so excited for those who are giving to my race to be involved in the raising of money. Seriously, you guys are rockstars and I can’t do any of this without you all.

Let me get real with you guys for a second though. College is stressful. Work is stressful, but all of you, my supporters, my family, friends, fellow world racers, and cheerleaders make it bearable. Of course God is my anchor, but you guys keep my spirits up and my stress down. If I could hug all of you at once, I would. It would be super cute, like one big group-hug.

This post is mainly an update, but I do have something to ask of each of you who are reading this. Please prayerfully consider donating to my mission trip that I am called to go on. $19,000 is a lot of money. It’s staggering actually, but I know that I have some crazy warriors out there who are willing to support me and everything I am feeling God pull me toward.

Also, I ask that you share my blog page. I work hard and put my heart into the words that I write. I am a journalist after all. I want to make the stories other people have public, but I pray that you do the same to mine. I will share my original page link to my Facebook, so that will (hopefully) take whoever clicks on it to the very beginning.

I appreciate you, and I am praying for my prayer warriors each day.

With all my love,

Jo
