I am currently sitting in an internet cafe in Swaziland. We arrived here a couple of days ago and will be heading to our ministry site tomorrow morning. This month is a special one specificalyl for the men of our squad because it a month of "manistry" which means all the guys will be together and therefore all the girls will be together for the month.
I do not know the details of the ministry we will working with but I do know that I am on an all-girl team for the month with 4 other girls who I have yet to serve with this year. (Jesse Stanford, Melissa Milroy, Cherissa James & Kirsten Phillips)
I am EXTREMELY excited for this month. I have only been here a little over 48 hours but Swaziland just feels different from the past 2 African countries I've been in.
I am hoping that internet will be a little more accessible than last month, it really was harder than I thought it would be being completely out of touch with back home.
Can you believe I am already in month 8 of the race? What the heck?! After this is Asia… our last continent. 4 more months seems like a way away but at the same time is seems like nothing.
