The past couple of weeks have been pretty quick moving ones but I have made a lot of progress with trip preperations:
- I have purchased my plane ticket for Training Camp to Georgia in October.
- My fundraising account is now over $2,000!! (It was at $437 just last week).
- I have notified my current employer of the trip and they are VERY supportive… thank God!
- I had the opportunity of skyping with quite a few of my teammates. With every new face I meet I get even more pumped for January! Route 2 represent!!
By the end of the month I will need to have done some hardcore camping gear shopping. I need to practice this 'setting up and tearing down a tent' business STAT.
Many other things on the horizon but for now I wanted to keep this blog update Short & Sweet.
